More pictures of the Old Railway Hotel (as Inspiration for my lamp design)

Looking for more inspiration of silhouettes across the windows on the old railway hotel, I have decided to use a mixture of stylized sun-burst/triangle, grid and diagonal grid lines as to recreate the awaking lighting conditions within the spaces of the Hotel rooms. With this I also wanted to look at some of the aspects of the Old Railway station with a further array of window mullion designs and metal security across them, giving me further reinforcement of their inclusion in my conceptual model for Thursday.

Different patterns could be observed on the exterior entrance of the Railway station with engravings done on the stone side panels on the walls as well as elaborative art nouveau style decor on the entrance doors. Inside the entrance hall these Beaux Arts stylistic aspects are heavily shown, with a high entrance ceiling being covered with grids, curves, columns and floral/curved patterns that can be used in the final lamp design to create different patterns of light.

With these different types of grids and opening systems, I've had a possible idea of creating a lamp design which allows different amounts of light to exit from it, reinforcing that idea of the awaken journey through the hotel rooms towards the full sunshine of the windows from the darkness, a process of stages.
